Midlandjobs.ie is an internet “job-board”. This means that it has two main functions:
- To list relevant vacancies for job-seekers interested in the region as a good location in which to live and work.
- To provide an online forum for job-seekers to easily register and specify their career and location choices within the Midlands.
The service is primarily intended to be a useful reference point for job-seekers, providing up-to-date information about employment in the region. Within a couple of clicks you can see who are the hottest employers around and view and directly apply to their current vacancies.
Important
Your registration with the service is “not” an automatic application for all jobs added to the system from then on. You must yourself keep a regular check on the service, log in and apply specifically for the jobs which interest you.
You do this by clicking on the “Click Here to Email Employer Directly” function highlighted in red, near the bottom of each job listing.
If you are applying to jobs listed by a local recruitment agency, be sure and contact that agency directly in order to complete their own registration process as well.
Continuous improvement
Midlandjobs is a work in progress. The designers of the website, Zero-One Design (ZOD) have made the website extremely customizable. Therefore relevant suggestions on how the service can be improved would be greatly appreciated and should be channelled through the Contact Us section, or comment through the job-seeker's area of our Midlandjobs Forum
