About Midlandjobs.ie

Midlandjobs.ie has been growing its presence in the Midlands region since 2006. By now we have over 3,000 registered users on our database interested in finding work in the Midlands.

The site is run by Tom Griffith based in Mullingar town. The challenge for local employers has been to connect with job-seekers who want to find work locally.

On the job-seeker side there are many good candidates out there who may not be aware of the quality employment available in the Midlands. Midlandjobs aim has always been to make that connection for local employers. Our objective has been to keep the process as simple as possible and to use the service, all you really need is a valid email address to register.

The Midlandjobs Difference

Whats different about our service over other job-boards is that we know the challenges of commuting between the Midlands towns. So while the other services only allow you to register and search on the basis of County, we know for example that while Co. Offaly and Co. Westmeath may be neighbouring counties, a job-seeker in Birr (Co. Offaly) is unlikely to want to commute to Castlepollard in Co. Westmeath. Itd be easier for them to get to Limerick. This allows both job-seeker and employers to tailor their parameters very specifically to their own area thereby cutting out unnecessary job notifications.
