|Organisation: Forus Training is a further education and training centre delivering programmes across Ireland.
Location: Head Office Mullingar, Co. Westmeath
Requirement: to carry out management and administrative duties relating to all aspects of assessment entries and results, to assist tutors or learners with any queries relating to assessment, to seek ways of improving quality in all aspects of the work in line with our quality management system.
This is a part-time position.

Tutor induction / programme co-ordination
Oversight of programme co-ordination
Participating in the application and enrolment of candidates
Monitor learner progress towards achieving a recognised compound qualification
Internal staff monitoring / education
Co-ordination of trainer briefings
Keep abreast of best practice in training techniques, course content and assessment
Process applications from learners (e.g. extensions or exemptions)
Co-ordination of external authentication
Co-ordination of results approval panel
Regulation of assessment material
Management of assessment data
Maintain records of learner assessment
Liaise with workplace supervisors for learners on work placement.
Respond to enquiries by telephone and by email.
Communicate results and outcomes of decisions.
Maintain minutes of tutor or learner meetings.
Regular communications and reporting to key stakeholders.
Management of complaints.
Liaise with QQI on behalf of learners.
Assist with new programme validation
Assist with evaluation of programmes
Monitor attendance, non-submission
Screen applications for extensions
Provide pastoral support if required
Answer learner questions relating to any programme
Assist with learner or tutor needs providing additional support, guidance and 1:1 tuition
Support learners with special requirements.
Answering telephone and greeting centre visitors
Invoicing and receipting payments
Dealing with student queries in-centre
Attending and participating in team meetings
Maintain QA standards
Monitor learners payment schedules
Liaise with accounts department
Ability to communicate effectively to enable knowledge and skills transfer.
Ability to work as part of a team, including consulting, collaborating and building relationships with key stakeholders.
Strives for high quality of work and demonstrates commitment to the programme.
