The Midlands Simon Community is working to eliminate homelessness in counties Laois, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
The organisation wishes to recruit for the following positions:
Community General Practitioner/Community Pharmacy Liaison Nurse.
The main purpose of the post is to develop the links between the Health Service Executive CADS (Community Alcohol and Drug Service), Community General Practitioners and the Community Pharmacists involved in the Shared Care Programme under the Methadone Protocol Scheme.
The successful candidate will: • Be a qualified registered General Nurse • Be currently on the live register with - An Bord Altranais • Have at least 5 years post graduate experience • Have at least 2 years full time experience working in the Addiction Services, with direct client contact • Have a full clean driving licence and access to a car.
This appointment will be for a fixed 12-month term contract.
